Terms of Use for DSL Accounts:

  1. Access is via modem/router and is a permanent connection. The user may stay permanently connected.
  2. Applicant understands that illegal use of account may result in termination without refund. Such activities include:
    • Posting child pornography
    • Port Scanning Systems that you do not own
    • Running programs like crack and unshadow
    • Smufing, flooding, and SYN attacking other systems
    • Harrassing and threatening other users
    • Using your account to distribute pirated software
    • Using your account to send Unsolicited Commercial E-mail (UCE or, as it is more commonly known as, "spam") to users on our or any other system.
  3. Applicant will not hold a1comserv.com, Inc. responsible for any pirated software, computer viruses, pornography or other material downloaded through this account. Further user will hold harmless Infobahn from any and all lost business, opportunity, or goodwill that may occur as a result of internet downtime, lost email and other problems.
  4. a1comserv.com, Inc. will make every reasonable effort to ensure minimal busy signals and maximum connectivity; however, there may be situations that are beyond our control that may result in downtime for which A1 Communication Services cannot be responsible.
  5. Applicant is responsible for all activity on account by any person with whom applicant shares account password. This includes any children of the applicant.
  6. Account may be used for any legal purpose and there will be no censorship implemented by a1comserv.com, Inc. for surfing. a1comserv.com reserves the right to refuse to host any web site based on content that is deemed inappropriate.
  7. One year contract is required for all DSL accounts.  DSL Circuits and service can be terminated early via 30 day written notice to a1comserv.com.  An early termination fee is calculated by multiplying the number of months left in the existing term of the contract by the subscriber's current monthly rate plus $250.00 and will be charged to customer's account.
